The Story Behind Wild Boar
Wild Boar is produced by a small family tea factory in Van Chan District, specialising in leaves harvested from wild tea trees growing in the surrounding mountain forests. Leaves are collected by ethnic minority communities from villages including Suoi Quyen, Suoi Bu, Suoi Giang, and Phinh Ho — processed using orthodox techniques and presented as whole, unbroken leaves equivalent to a tippy Orange Pekoe.
Van Chan is not only a centre for wild tea but also celebrated for its sticky rice, spices, and hot mineral springs.
How to Brew
Use 3–4g per 200ml of water at 90–95°C. Steep for 2–3 minutes. Enjoy on its own or with a little lemon or milk. Can be re-steeped 2–3 times for evolving flavour.
